Description
Please be aware that only individuals with a GREEN PASSPORT or a VALİD VİSA will be accepted for this project, which will start within the next month, due to the visa appointment and acquisition processes. Volunteers will engage in various activities including daily farming tasks, learning about sustainable practices, and participating in grape harvesting. The foundation will host a Youth Fair showcasing opportunities for young people with NGOs and other organizations. Daily guided tours in English and Spanish will be organized at Casa dos Maza. An Afforestation Day will raise awareness about forest protection and include firefighting training. Volunteers will also work on their own creative projects and participate in an Intercultural Night to share their cultures. Additionally, volunteers will manage social media and event operations for a Solidarity Fest. The program will involve 20 volunteers from five countries over one month.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The volunteering project will take place in Cambados, Pontevedra- Spain. Cambados, has all the conditions to embrace this project, which makes a pleasant location for the volunteers and benefits local population, who gains with the experience, ac.vi.es and knowledge exchanges brought by volunteers. Volunteers will be hosted in a private house/ apartment with two/three beds per room, located in Cambados. Each volunteer will have house with all the facili.es (fridge, washing machine, furniture, bedroom clothes, cutlery), ensuring a nice, safe and pleasant experience.
