Description

Volunteering with Arousa Moza will offer a dynamic opportunity to engage in both local and international community activities. Locally, volunteers will help organize and manage events like children's scavenger hunts, providing logistical support and guiding participants. They will also lead weekly workshops, such as English conversation sessions, fostering community connections. Arousa Moza will encourage creativity, allowing volunteers to propose and develop his own new projects or initiavies they would like to develop. Internationally, volunteers will participate in Erasmus+ projects, focusing on inclusion, youth engagement, and social issues. They will collaborate with international partners, gaining valuable experience in multicultural teamwork.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Arousa Moza will fully reimburse your round-trip travel expenses from your home country. During your stay, you will share accommodation with two others—another volunteer and a staff member from Arousa Moza—fostering a collaborative and community-oriented environment. For your daily needs, you’ll receive pocket money to cover food and local transportation, ensuring that your basic necessities are met. Additionally, you'll receive an extra allowance to cover personal expenses, giving you financial flexibility during your volunteer experience.

Training during the activity

Regarding training during the opportunity, volunteers will receive as much language support as possible to help them adapt and communicate effectively. Volunteers be in a collaborative environment with Arousa Moza staff, ensuring that for every activity you’ll be involved in, your role will be clearly defined from the start. This support system will help you feel confident and prepared, allowing you to fully engage in and contribute to the various projects and initiatives.

Participant profile

We are looking for enthusiastic and proactive participants who are eager to contribute to both local and international projects. Ideal candidates will have a strong sense of initiative, with a readiness to propose and develop new ideas. We value inclusivity and welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring everyone feels supported and respected. Participants should be comfortable working in a collaborative environment, as they will be working closely with Arousa Moza staff and other volunteers. While previous experience is not mandatory, a willingness to learn, adaptability, and a positive attitude are essential. We seek individuals who are excited about cultural exchange, community engagement, and making a meaningful impact through their volunteer work.
