Description

Join the volunteer project to co-create and develop Föreningen Framtidståget – a non-profit organization in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden! This project offers a unique opportunity for volunteers with skills in PROJECT MANAGEMENT who are passionate about leading and managing international projects, as well as activities that positively impact the local community, all while immersing themselves in Swedish culture, language, and daily life. Through the project, 2 volunteers will be selected to participate in the activities of the Framtidståget Association for 6 months, from December 2024 to May 2025. All expenses, including flights, accommodation, meals, and insurance are covered, along with a monthly allowance. This opportunity is exclusively available to young people residing in the European Union, aged 18 to 30.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteer support includes: - Travel Costs: Reimbursement or direct assistance with travel expenses between your country and Stockholm, Sweden. - Accommodation: Fully provided by the hosting organization for the project duration. - Monthly Allowance: Financial support to cover daily living expenses. - Local Transportation: Assistance with transportation within the local area. - Pocket Money: An additional per diem to cover personal expenses. - Insurance: Comprehensive insurance coverage for the entire volunteering period, ensuring safety and security throughout the experience.

Training during the activity

Participants receive general and activity-specific training, mentoring, language learning support, and a recognition of learning outcomes – a Youthpass certificate from the European Solidarity Corps.

Participant profile

We are looking for 2 volunteers who are dynamic and open-minded individuals aged 18 to 30 who reside in the European Union and have experience in PROJECT MANAGEMENT. Ideal candidates are passionate about community engagement and enjoy leading both international and local projects that positively impact society. You should be adaptable, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about working in an intercultural environment. A curiosity for exploring Swedish culture, language, and daily life is significant, as this role involves cultural immersion and active participation in local life.
