Description

As we kick off 2025, we are offering a diverse range of engaging activities. Volunteers will have the opportunity to work with children during the winter break, facilitating workshops, sports activities, DIY, and cultural presentations. Our work extends to schools where we will focus on homelessness, equal opportunities, cultural exchange and human rights to raising awareness through programs such as Eurocamps and CATventures. Volunteers will also lead health and wellbeing workshops, such as cooking classes that coincide with important international days (e.g., celebrating Healthy Nutella Day on February 5th or World Cancer Day on February 4th). In addition, we will honor International Women’s Day through special events celebrating women’s achievements, and promote linguistic diversity on International Language Day. Lastly, we will organize the WASP Charity Event, a vibrant community gathering featuring music, activities and fundraising efforts for charity.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Fully furnished houses, 2 to 10 minutes away from the Office, shared accommodation with other volunteers, common space , bathroom …etc 5. has access to foundation bikes 6. Reimbursement or coverage for local transport when used for work 7. Reimbursement for travel tickets according to ESC Guide. We encourage participants to travel GREEN with more days to travel and a higher travel limit.

Training during the activity

During the initiation of the project, there will be an Adaptation Week, Cultural events. This period will provide an opportunity to collaborate with an international team, with English as the working language, and an introduction to the Polish language. Participants will develop the ability to engage in conversations in multiple languages. Upon the completion of the mobility program, participants will receive a Youth Pass / ESC Volunteer Diploma.

Participant profile

We are seeking volunteers with a genuine passion for working with children and a strong, extroverted personality with excellent communication skills. Ideal candidates will have experience in designing and delivering engaging activities and possess the ability to effectively manage group workshops. Flexibility in adapting teaching methods to suit different learning styles is essential. We value individuals who are open to feedback and committed to continuous improvement. A positive, team-oriented attitude is key, as well as strong organizational and time management skills to ensure the smooth execution of tasks and activities.
