Description
At our forest kindergarten that is situated in a beautiful nature area, we aim to create a caring and positive environment where everyone respects each other and the world around them. Our project focuses on teaching mindfulness and compassion in every interaction, helping children grow emotionally and physically. We provide a spacious, creative, and fun learning space that supports each child’s unique development. We believe in building strong connections within our local community and beyond. Promoting health is important to us, so we focus on physical well-being, emotional strength, and healthy food. Volunteering plays a big role in our mission, as it helps build friendships and important life skills that can lead to future job opportunities. We encourage young people to see volunteering as a great way to get involved and contribute to their community. International volunteers bring exciting new experiences, allowing children to learn about different languages and cultures.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
We have a great big flat in Beroun (30 minutes from Prague by bus) that will feel like home. It’s close to everything you need—just a 5-minute walk to supermarkets, shops, and a pharmacy. You’ll find it easy to take care of daily tasks. Each month, you’ll get money for food and the pocket money to use as you wish. For your project in Kublov, you can take the bus, and we’ll pay for your tickets, so you don’t have to worry about that. This way, you can focus on your tasks and enjoy your time in the area. We want to make sure your stay is comfortable!
Training during the activity
During this long-term project, you will have two meetings with other volunteers in the Czech Republic. These gatherings will allow you to discuss important topics, share ideas, and meet new people. You’ll gain valuable knowledge and experiences from others that can enhance your own project and personal growth. You won’t feel lonely as a foreigner facing language challenges. Being part of this supportive community means you can connect with others who understand your experiences. It’s a great opportunity to build friendships, share stories, and learn together while maki
