Description

"6-Month Long-Term Project for Male Volunteers" We will work about refugees,children and youth work.Volunteers will help the staff and work on the associations activities.Our local partners will be included to our local various activities.During our activities;Non-Formal Education,Outdoor Activities,Visual Presentations will be implemented.They will develop new projects and experience the project development or the young people with fewer opportunities and they will have opportunity to discuss about the problems which we can face during the implementation of projects and they will gain competences about quality management. Project activities are 6 months for long-term volunteers.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Accommodation : Volunteers will stay in a room for 2-3 people and will live together with 3-4 different volunteers from different countries. There is bathroom, kitchen, kitchen utilities(pots, plates and etc.), living room, washing machine, hot water and heating ( raditors ).We will provide towels, blankets, pillows and bed linens. Internet connection is at the center (in IT classes) and in the accommodation place (wi-fi). Food: Our organization provides a fix amount for food. Transport arrangements: Volunteers will commute by foot from the accomodation to the our office.

Training during the activity

The participants will receive on-arrival training if it is organized by Turkish National Agency during their stay and we will provide language courses and the participants will directly involve in the training and workshops provided by our organisation.

Participant profile

We are looking for open-minded, dynamic, cheerful, tolerant, culturally sensitive, and democratic individuals to work with our group of young people, aged 7-29, as well as refugees. The ideal candidates should be passionate about engaging with young people from diverse backgrounds and helping them overcome challenges. They should be adaptable, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment. Volunteers will play a key role in supporting various activities and workshops aimed at empowering youth, promoting social inclusion, and fostering intercultural understanding. A commitment to fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere, where everyone’s voice is valued and respected, is essential. We welcome individuals who are eager to contribute their skills, ideas, and energy to help create a more inclusive and democratic community for both young people and refugees.
