Description

You will support the integration of the MEAL standards in the Mission to promote quality, efficient and adaptive management, assisting the teams in the use of Monitoring and Evaluation tools, improving data collection, harmonization, analysis and storage. You will support the team in implementing learning approaches such as capitalization, best practices, lessons learnt etc. You will ensure knowledge, good use and follow-up of the IBRP (Indicators on Beneficiary Progress Report) at the mission level and train the teams on the IBPR and storage procedure (archiving). You will also assist the preparation and analysis of the databases, documentation and update of M&E data; Assist the planning, design and guidance of the project, helping teams in setting up baseline/endline surveys in Kobo and other online platforms, in quantitative and qualitative data collection and in the identification of key outcome indicators to record and report on project progress.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

A monthly Subsistence Lump Sum will be provided to cover basic needs such as food and personal hygiene items. Accommodation, travel costs, visa, pre-deployment medical check + vaccinations (if mandatory for the country), allowance will be covered. In case of need, a Fewer Opportunities Support will also be covered.

Training during the activity

The Volunteer will attend online before and on-site induction at the arrival to her/his deployment Mission. Training during deployment will also be offered to improve the volunteer’s skills and competences.

Participant profile

You have a university diploma in a relevant field (Sociology, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or relevant professional qualification) and excellent knowledge of English (C1); Russian will be an advantage. You are proficient in using MS office and have knowledge of database and statistical software (IBM SPSS, Power BI or Kobo Toolkit) and data visualization tools (PPT, Canva, Flourish). You have excellent analytical skills, ability to communicate complex and sensitive information, and facilitate training to a wide and diverse audience. You understand concepts such as data protection and confidentiality and have a background in data collection methods for conducting quantitative and qualitative studies. You are skilled in database management and statistics, with a focus on information management, data analysis and visualization. Knowledge of organizational systems, practices, and policies is an asset. Previous work experience in related fields and volunteering is an asset.
