Working with young people at Fjället Youth Centre Sweden

Kooperativet Fjället

Description

Kooperativet Fjället is an NGO that runs leisure activities for young people aged 10-20 years old in Rannebergen, Gothenburg Sweden. The youth activities are based on young people's participation and influence. At the youth centre we host 2 volunteers from different countries that will work together. The volunteers may initiate own projects/activities according to abilities and preferences and develop this together with the young people in the youth center. It may be sports, cultural, crafts activities, theatre, music or other. Volunteers will also be working in the regular activities such as card games, ping-pong, basket, baking, handicrafts as well as camps and excursions. Volunteers will also work to disseminate information on EU-opportunities for young people and young adults. The volunteers also support the sending of young adults to volunteer projects. Training during the activity

We encourage the volunteers to stay over the weekend in Stockholm at own cost in conjunction with these trainings. The volunteers will receive Swedish language classes which is part of the work hours.
