Description
Within the scope of the program supported by the Turkish National Agency and coordinated by Sorgun Youth Association within the framework of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) , 2 volunteers will participate in volunteering activities in Hungary for 90 days. Volunteering activities will be organized in Kállósemjén, Hungary between 15.02.2025- 15.05.2025 Working Hours: Volunteers will volunteer 35 hours per week and will have 2 (two) days off per week. There will also be 2 extra days off every month. *** Please also send your motivation letter to esc@sorged.org***
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
You will share an apartment in Kállósemjén with double rooms, bathrooms and an eat-in kitchen. Accommodation will be provided by the host organization. You will live in the apartment with other ESC volunteers. Volunteers will have kitchen utensils and internet in their homes. According to the Turkish National Agency rules, 6 euros per day will be allocated as pocket money for volunteers. The volunteer will be paid 6 euros per day for 3 meals. A total of 275 Euros will be paid for your travel expenses, round trip.
Training during the activity
Volunteering Activities: The volunteer will engage in volunteering with local children and youth. They will participate in various activities such as sports, environmental events, board games, healthy living activities, cooking workshops, programming, and robotic coding. The volunteer will also assist in the preparation of these activities.
