YRIC II - Supporting the work of Youth & Refugee Integration Center

STOWARZYSZENIE EUROPE 4 YOUTH

Rabka-Zdrój, Poland

Description

In 2023, we launched the YRIC project, bringing together young volunteers from Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Hungary, and France to renovate an old building in Rabka-Zdrój, Poland. This building has since been transformed into the Polish-Ukrainian Youth and Refugee Integration Center, named Kefirek. Ever since that project, the Center has been operating sucessfully, and it is attended by Polish and Ukrainian young people alike. Our goal is to create a space where both Polish and Ukrainian youth can come together, share experiences, and engage in activities that foster personal growth and mutual understanding. Through non-formal learning, cultural exchange, psychological aid and community-driven initiatives, we aim to help young people build skills and resilience. We are also focused on professionalizing efforts around integration and addressing the specific needs of the local community.
