Description

The project promotes volunteerism, NGO activities, social economy entities, and institutions in Leszno, including schools and socially responsible companies. It supports European Solidarity Corps (ESC) initiatives and organizes workshops on creativity, DIY projects, and handcrafts for youth clubs. Participants will help prepare the European Week Project, including a festival and activities for children, adolescents, and seniors. Volunteers will also deliver cultural presentations, engage with students in schools and high schools, and participate in youth camps, facilitating language games, cultural exchanges, and workshops on tradition, sports, and arts. Working alongside a diverse, multinational team, this opportunity allows participants to share and promote their cultures. Join us!

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

1. Pocket money as per ESC Guide (2023) 2. Food allowance and house cleaning supplies 3. will get Henner health cover 4. Fully furnished houses, 2 to 10 minutes away from the Office, shared accommodation with other volunteers, common space , bathroom …etc 5. has access to foundation bikes 6. Reimbursement or coverage for local transport when used for work 7. Reimbursement for travel tickets according to ESC Guide. We encourage participants to travel GREEN with more days to travel and a higher travel limit.

Training during the activity

During the initiation of the project, there will be an Adaptation Week. This period will provide an opportunity to collaborate with an international team, with English as the working language, and an introduction to the Polish language. Participants will develop the ability to engage in conversations in multiple languages. Upon the completion of the mobility program, participants will receive a Youth Pass / ESC Volunteer Diploma.

Participant profile

The participants should be team-oriented, social, and have a good level in English, thriving in multicultural settings. They are creative, proactive, and adaptable, eager to share their culture and embrace others. With strong interpersonal skills, they excel in engaging diverse groups, from children to seniors. Passionate about solidarity, they bring enthusiasm and initiative to workshops, teamwork, and community impact.
