Description

Project will take place in Krakow, Poland. We would like to host up to 16th volunteers from different European countries in our team volunteering project that starts on the 7th of July, 2025 and end on the 29th of July (when the first and the last days are the travel days!). Our project will take place in Krakow, where we would like to organize intercultural activities mostly for children and adults. Volunteers tasks will be to prepare the activity plan, materials and conduct those activities as well as to sumarize everything and to prepare your Youthpass in the end. We will work up to 35 hours per week. And don't worry: there will be also time to get to know each other, to see the city and to learn about its past and presence, to have good time with the rest of the team. We will use the space of our social gardens. This project is dedicated also to people with fewer opportunities, which means health problems, economical obstacles, unemployment, educational problems.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

We will accomodate all volunteers in the flats which we rent for our long-term volunteers. They are located in different parts of Krakow. Flats have mostly double rooms, common kitchen and bathroom. Volunteers will get pocket money and food allowance for 23 days of the activity. For EU citizens European Health Insurance Card is obligatory, Henner insurance is additional. We will provide tickets for the public transport.

Training during the activity

We would like to meet each candiddate on-line while recruitment to talk about our idea of the project and to get to know each other better. When we have the whole group completed, we would like to meet again to give all participants a chance to get to know each other and ask some question before we meet in person in KRakow. First days of the meeting will be around integration, ESC rules, PSEA, Youthpass, tools, learning about Polish history and traditions. We will also build the plan of the activities for next 2 weeks and prepare materials. And then we will be testing our games with children!

Participant profile

We are looking for young people between 18 and 30 years old. From different European countries, because we would like to have really diverse group. It will help us to create more intercultural activities. We are looking for open-minded and creative young people who would like to share their knowledge, experience and time wtih others. You need to avalaible also for the whole time of the activity (3 weeks and 2 days). English on communicative level would be good as we need to communicate with each others and participants of activities.
