Description

Volunteer will be responsible for designing, implementing and supervising internal and external communication strategies that strengthen the positioning of Techo Peru, promoting its mission, projects and activities. He/she will be responsible for leading the creation of content, managing digital platforms and building relationships with media and strategic allies. He/she will provide support in the design and implementation of the annual marketing and communications plan aligned to the objectives of the organization, develop strategies to position Techo Peru in traditional and digital media, supervise the coherence and alignment of the institutional discourse in all communication channels, create, coordinate and supervise content for social networks, website, newsletters and other digital channels, as well as plan and execute awareness, fundraising and volunteer campaigns.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteer will have established work spaces, so that s/he can develop the tasks assigned to her/him and will be provided with the necessary inputs for the provision of assistance; Accompaniment by TECHO Peru's board of directors and by the assigned mentor; Participation in training spaces organized by TECHO Peru for the permanent team. The volunteer will be provided with a monthly allowance of 650EUR and accommodation, as well as a return flight ticket to and from the country of origin. A health insurance scheme will be provided and all costs related to the briefing/debriefing covered.

Training during the activity

● Be part of a multidisciplinary team where you will gain knowledge about other professions and the national context. Learn about the characteristics of poverty and inequality from a human rights perspective. ● Manage and evaluate projects with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability. ● Foster your leadership and teamwork. ● Strengthen your network of contacts.

Participant profile

Qualifications: Graduates or final year students of Social Communication, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations or related subjects. Languages: good knowledge of Spanish. Software (desirable): Advanced knowledge of Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Calendar). Knowledge of graphic design platforms such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience in the management of social networks and their analysis. Skills: Knowledge of Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals. Experience in areas of communication, digital marketing or public relations, and in the creation and supervision of digital content and communicational campaigns. Soft Skills: Commitment. Creativity and innovation Proactivity Leadership Effective communication skills Ability to work as part of a team. Eligibility : Candidates must be 18 to 35 years old, reside in one of the eligible countries (EU Member State, North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Turkey), have completed the compulsory Humanitarian Aid Volunteering training and not have participated before in individual Humanitarian Aid Volunteering. When adding together this new volunteering opportunity and any previous participation in EU volunteering programmes, the total duration cannot exceed 12 months.
