Description
- Assist in generating and executing a communication strategy aimed at TECHO's different target audiences in the country. - Development of digital communication strategies, seeking to enhance the reach and the problems of the settlements. - Assist in positioning and use of the brand. - Support with TECHO's design area, for the conceptualization of campaigns and production of graphic communication materials for active communities. - Support with the management and control of the use of the institutional image through the development and implementation of communication, advertising and integral marketing strategies aimed at TECHO's different target audiences. - Assist in the development of strategies that support the work for the development and management of funds, communication and visibility of the projects. - Assist with the management of relations with traditional and digital media.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Working conditions are: Flexible working hours. / Constant visits to the community. / Institutional mail tool and library drive. / Willingness to work weekends and participate in TECHO's work in communities. Living conditions: Accommodation provided for by TECHO/ Transport to community visits and visits to regional headquarters. The volunteer will receive a monthly per diem of 700€ to cover their food and other personal expenses.
Training during the activity
Volunteers will receive briefings by MdM and TECHO at MdM HQ in Madrid, as well as a mandatory online training on environmental issues before they start their field work. Training sessions will take place both in the countries of the support and host organisations. They will be part of a multidisciplinary team where they will gain knowledge about other professions and the national context. They will learn about the characteristics of poverty and inequality from a human rights perspective, as well as foster their leadership.
Participant profile
University student or professional. Qualifications: Professional with a degree in Advertising, Marketing, Public Relations, Social Communication, Journalism or related to communication. Complementary training (desirable but not exclusive): Programmes with emphasis on Design, Leadership, and Social Projects. Experience in strategic communication, communication campaigns, media management, etc. Fluent Spanish mandatory / Good English desirable.
