Description
Malabis Share – Clothes for Dignity Join Malabis Share, a 17-day volunteering project (April 18–May 4, 2025) in Tetouan/Martil, Morocco, empowering communities through sustainable clothing exchange. Volunteers collect, repair, and distribute donated clothes via pop-up clothing banks, allowing underserved families to choose outfits with dignity. By reducing textile waste and fostering cultural exchange, this initiative blends sustainability with social impact. Activities include upcycling workshops, community art, and a fashion show. Open to international participants (18–30) who are passionate about sustainability, fashion, and social justice. No prior experience needed—just an open mind and teamwork spirit!
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Participants will stay in shared rooms (5–6 per room) equipped with mattresses, blankets, and pillows. Shared bathrooms are available in line with local facilities. While there are no on-site laundry or internet services, nearby laundromats and internet options are accessible. A daily meal allowance of €3 is provided, or participants can receive three vegan meals per day. Tap water is drinkable, and to promote sustainability, bottled water will not be provided.
Participant profile
We welcome international participants aged 18–30 who thrive in collaborative, hands-on environments. Ideal volunteers are positive, proactive, and culturally sensitive, with a passion for sustainability, fashion, and social justice. While basic English is helpful, it’s not mandatory—what matters most is your eagerness to learn, connect, and embrace Morocco’s natural beauty and vibrant culture.
