Stronger Together

Európa Ifjúsága Egyesület

Magyaralmás, Hungary

Description

Stronger Together is a long-term volunteering project set to launch in November 2025, based in the vibrant community of Magyaralmás, Hungary. Targeted at young adults aged 18 to 31, the aims to create a dynamic space for cultural exchange and personal growth. Volunteers will plan and facilitate a wide range of activities, from organizing engaging free-time events and running language clubs to developing diverse programs within the local youth house. With the support of our association, volunteers will also promote opportunities like Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) to foster broader participation and awareness. Additionally, Stronger Together volunteers will lend their skills and energy to local events, enriching the community with their contributions. They will also be instrumental in planning and implementing Erasmus+ youth exchanges and training courses, ensuring that young people from various backgrounds can connect, learn, and grow together.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The three volunteers of Stronger Together will share a comfortable and well-equipped house in SZÉKESFEHÉRVÁR. Each volunteer will have their own separate room to ensure privacy and personal space. The house includes all necessary amenities such as heating, hot water, Wi-Fi, gas, and more, providing a convenient and cozy living environment. Volunteers will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their living space. The house features a fully equipped kitchen, allowing volunteers to prepare their own meals. This setup aims to create a harmonious and self-sufficient living arrangement.

Training during the activity

The Hungarian National Agency is hosting two dynamic one-week meetings for international volunteers in the vibrant cities of Visegrád and/or Budapest. Meanwhile, the Európa Ifjúsága Egyesület - Youth of Europe Association is organizing two engaging, multi-day "internal" training sessions where mentors and fellow volunteers (12 young people) come together to enjoy meaningful moments, strengthen bonds, and boost their skills in an exciting and supportive atmosphere.
