The Popcorn Club Aruba is a dynamic non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Aruban youth through social, cultural, recreational, educational, and physical activities. Our mission is to motivate and guide young people toward a positive path in life by enhancing their self-confidence, creativity, and leadership skills. We seek enthusiastic, open-minded individuals who are passionate about youth development, arts, and community engagement. As a long-term volunteer, you will help organize events, mentor young participants, lead creative workshops, support daily activities, and assist with office work. You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, inspiring, and vibrant space where young people can grow, learn, and express themselves. Join us and make a real impact! Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will live in a sharedhouse with other international participants. Rooms will be shared for volunteer groups and long-term ESC volunteers will either have an individual room or a room shared with one other participant. Volunteers will receive a weekly food allowance to be able to buy food and household necessities either individually or as a group. The accommodation is well located; 5 minutes’ walk from a local beach and with all the appliances and equipment needed for self-catering and learning to cook the local food. There are 2 shared cars and 2 bikes which can be used.
Training during the activity
Interactive seminars focused on personal development and leadership, gain valuable insights and practical tools to excel in both your professional and personal life. Improve ability to collaborate, lead with confidence, and effectively manage events, while developing key skills that will set you apart in any team or organization.
Participant profile
We require determined, proactive individuals. Arts, social, or technical skills welcome. Active participation needed for Popcorn Club events and projects. We are seeking volunteers with diverse skills: • Volunteers with dancing skills / ability to teach dance in different settings. • Volunteers with some ability in designing, making, upcycling, and decorating dancing costumes. • Seeking skilled volunteers in event coordination, photography, videography, digital design, website, social media, and communication. Available as soon as possible for a minimum of 6 months. We will take in consideration only the ones that will email us with a motivational letter and CV. Please note that due to the high volume of applications we receive, we will only respond to those selected. There is no need to email us again.
