Description

ESC volunteers will take part in dynamic non-formal educational activities designed to inspire creativity and personal growth. Through engaging workshops in recycling, music, painting, and theatre, volunteers will work alongside children to explore self-expression and skill development. By using a variety of materials and interactive methods, these activities will encourage physical and sensory development while fostering emotional, social, and cognitive growth. Volunteers will play an active role in shaping creative environments, storytelling sessions, and hands-on experiences that promote learning in a fun and inclusive way. Beyond supporting the children, volunteers will also enhance their own artistic abilities, teamwork, and adaptability, making this an enriching experience for everyone involved.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

As an ESC volunteer, you will be accommodated in fully furnished apartments, shared with 3 to 4 fellow volunteers. Each apartment includes a communal kitchen, bathroom, and dormitory-style sleeping area to ensure a comfortable living environment.To maintain a respectful and organized space, room allocations will be gender-specific. Volunteers will be provided with bed sheets, a pillow, and a blanket, but are required to bring their own towel .The kitchen is equipped with essential cooking utensils, including plates, cutlery, pots, glasses, cups,etc.

Training during the activity

Volunteers will attend the On-Arrival Training and Mid-Term Meeting, organized by the Romanian National Agency. Volunteers will receive mentorship sessions throughout the project and Romanian language classes. The participant will actively engage in non-formal education activities, supported by our dedicated teachers and staff. They will also work closely with a mentor to ensure the experience aligns with their expectations and goals.

Participant profile

We are seeking motivated individuals aged 18 to 30 who are eager to contribute to meaningful community projects while gaining valuable experience in an international setting. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to: ✔ Engage with children (ages 3 to 18) through educational and creative activities. ✔ Utilize your creativity, initiative, and interpersonal skills to enhance community programs. ✔ Promote environmental awareness and sustainability through various initiatives. ✔ Collaborate with diverse groups, strengthening social inclusion and community engagement.
