Join our team of creative volunteers at the Akwedukt Association and help us create a unique space for the local community! From May 12th to July 7th, 2025, we invite you to join us in the heart of Kwidzyn. A multitude of challenges and rewards await you! Your tasks: • Garden work and building outdoor spaces. • YouthClub: Lead workshops and activities for young people, sharing your passions and skills. • Intercultural Presentations: Organize interactive presentations about your countries and cultures, bringing the diversity of the world closer to young people and adults. • Culture Week Summer Camps: Help prepare and run summer camps, providing children with unforgettable holiday memories. • City Day and Youth Picnic: Run a booth with activities for young people and organize a picnic to integrate the local community. • European Solidarity Corps: Conduct presentations on the European Solidarity Corps program. • Collaboration with other NGO- lead activities and summer camps.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

• Term: May 12th - July 7th, 2025. • Location: Kwidzyn, Poland. • Accommodation: You will receive health insurance, monthly pocket money for food, and other expenses (180€+700PLN). Travel costs will be reimbursed depending on the travel distance (based on the UE calculator). Accommodation in a double room, in a three or four-bedroom flat. Training during the activity

Before coming to Poland, volunteers should be prepared for the project by the supporting organization from the volunteer's country, but it's not obligatory. Volunteers participate in the training offered by the Akwedukt's Association inner programme: introduction training, methods of working with kids, integration meetings and evaluation sessions, skill-oriented meetings, youthpass certification trainings, and any other preparation and trainings needed inside the Hosting Organisations.

Participant profile

We are looking for people who: • Are coming from EU countries and do not need visa for this project. • Are passionate about working with young people: have some experience in leading activities and workshops, can establish contact and cooperate effectively with young people. • Have "green fingers": approach gardening work with enthusiasm, know basic gardening techniques, and are willing to share their knowledge with others. • Are creative and energetic, ready to act in a dynamic environment. • Are interested in ecology and manual work, are not afraid of challenges, and can work with limited resources. • Are open to new cultures and willing to share their passions. • Are independent and responsible, can work in a team. • Have English language skills at least at the A2 level.
