Description
The Early Bird Club runs different private and bilingual (German/English) daycare centers, mainly for international expat families. They lovingly support and encourage each child individually according to their stage of development and offer them the space to constantly expand their social, creative and intellectual wealth of experience. Children are being cared for in small groups from the age of 8 weeks to 3 years in the nursery as well as in the kindergarten for 3-6 year old children. You will be working in the facility in Stuttgart. Your tasks as a volunteer: -Supporting educational staff in caring for the children - Designing active and creative activities with and for the children -Supporting staff with everyday tasks such as keeping rooms tidy and organized
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Female volunteers will be provided with a dorm room in a women's dorm or a shared flat. Male volunteers will be sharing a flat with other young people. You will receive a contribution to a year pass for local transportation in Germany. Furthermore, you will be given an allowance as well as additional money for food in accordance with the program guidelines.
Training during the activity
You will be participating in one seminar by the national agency (halfway through the program). Additionally, your hosting organisation will provide you with any training needed for your daily tasks during the service.
Participant profile
If you have an advanced level of English OR German (at least B2), enjoy working with kids, are motivated to work and contribute in an international team and are between 18 and 30 years old, this opportunity is for you! :) IMPORTANT: Please apply through our website.
