Description
Merry Go Park is a team volunteering project that will involve 18 participants from different countries. It includes the planning and organization of a festival in the park of Onești. The festival is now at its second edition and is dedicated to the Onești community, especially children and young people. In addition to the festival activities, the volunteer team will carry out activities with children from rural areas in June and will organize a summer camp for disadvantaged children.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The hosting facilities are organized in a community, so shared rooms, bathrooms and kitchen will be provided, with the responsibility of taking care of, including the garden, For activity purposes, local transport will be provided by the hosting organization to/from the village/town. Food and pocket money are provided by the programme through a total monthly transfer of 240 euro. Due to emergency of the selection process, permits and paper work requirements, the participants will be selected from the European countries.
Training during the activity
The general timetable implies one week of team-building and accommodation process, 6 weeks of preparing, promoting and implementing the festival, including crafting, farm tasks and non-formal activities with the local youth, and one evaluation week Fest Organization: Logistics Arts & Crafts Activities for Kids & Teens Social Media, Visibility & Video-Making
Participant profile
