Description
The Multi Art Festival in Kalisz is a unique event on the cultural map of Wielkopolska, which for 19 years has been opening up space for art in its most varied forms. Its interdisciplinary character brings together various artistic disciplines, creating new cultural formats. It's the only such open and inclusive initiative in the region, inviting residents to participate free of charge in the city's artistic feast. We reach out to people, offering culture in an open, safe space. The programme includes outdoor concerts, exhibitions, workshops, artist residencies, meetings, and cultural discussions. The festival dates are 28-30.08.2025. The project includes preparations for the festival+festival itself Your tasks will include: -assistance in pre-festival preparations (setting up the stage and exhibits, promoting the festival in different places in Kalisz) -helping during the festival (support at the festival's office, help during festival activities; photo/video documentation)
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers will sleep in dorms, in shared rooms. Lunch will be provided. The rest of the meals will be prepared by volunteers (money to buy ingredients will be provided by the hosting organisation). The expenses related to travel will be reimbursed. Candidates who require a visa will be supported during the process.
Training during the activity
Participants will be expected to take part in all of the activities, along with the youth. Additionally, they will be supporting local supervisors and educators on a daily basis. Volunteers are welcome to put forward any ideas, initiatives or improvements that they may have.
Participant profile
We are looking for a group of motivated volunteers who are interested in arts, culture, and civic participation. A perfect candidate is a creative team player with cultural sensitivity. Artistic skills and a sense of aesthetics will be an asset. Big plus if you know how to take pictures and videos.
