BRIDGING GENERATIONS group volunteering project in Gdańsk
Regionalne Centrum Wolontariatu w Gdansku
Gdańsk, Poland
Description
"Bridging Generations" is a new project by the Regional Volunteer Centre. It offers participants insight into the work of a local volunteer centre and invites them to co-create activities. Volunteers collaborate with students and people of all ages, sharing ideas and planning together. They design and lead workshops, especially around Sustainable Development, aiming to raise awareness of environmental and social issues among youth. The project includes participation in events linked to the Velo-city conference in Gdańsk, promoting cycling and sustainable urban mobility. In the final phase, volunteers support the Senior Parade and Picnic on June 18, 2025, by assisting seniors during the city parade, running activities on Ołowianka Island, and building an inclusive, intergenerational spirit.
