Description
This project is combination of natural protection and art. We will will repair the banks of the river to reduce the risk of flooding, we will clean up the illegal waste dump. Simultaneously we will apply land art as a tool of communication and self-expression. at the end of the project, we will prepare a performance for the local public with an environmental theme.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The project will take place in a rural - permaculture settlement near wild nature with solar showers, fireplaces, hammocks. We will provide you with a different kind of accommodation in a cozy glamping style. In the attic of the house, in caravans, glamping tents, and also hostel is avalible.
Training during the activity
Volunteers will learn basic permaculture principles, become familiar with the Dragon Dreaming project methodology and try out different theatrical and artistic approaches such as land art and site-specific theater.
Participant profile
For young people who feel a deep connection with nature, who are interested in how humans can positively influence nature. For young people who are not afraid of physical work. They want to learn more than not to fight but to cooperate with nature, They are interested in the concept and philosophy of Permaculture. They like art, theater, music, land art. They want to meet and create with young people from all over Europe. We want to support volunteers in becoming skilled and competent in a variety of tasks that are important for living in rural areas and in a community. We want to encourage and develop their creativity and entrepreneurship as they discover the potential and the different sources offered by this natural environment in order to enable people to live in a more meaningful and respectful way in rural areas.
