Description
Leads the linkage with international cooperation agencies, identifying and managing projects, alliances and technical and financial reports. Strengthens TECHO Peru's sustainability through strategic articulation and the fulfilment of commitments with donors, contributing to institutional positioning. Main tasks: Identify international cooperation opportunities in line with TECHO's institutional objectives and lines of action; Formulate and coordinate project proposals to present to cooperation agencies, multilateral organizations, foundations and embassies; Ensure compliance with technical, financial and reporting requirements of projects financed by international cooperation; Coordinate with internal areas (Territory, Administration, Communications, etc.) for the correct execution and reporting of cooperated projects; Provide support for compliance with local regulations related to international cooperation (such as registration and reporting to APCI in the case of Peru).
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The volunteer will have established work spaces, so that s/he can develop the tasks assigned to her/him and will be provided with the necessary inputs for the provision of assistance; Accompaniment by TECHO Peru's board of directors and by the assigned mentor; Participation in training spaces organized by TECHO Peru for the permanent team. The volunteer will be provided with a monthly allowance of 650EUR and accommodation, as well as a return flight ticket to and from the country of origin. A health insurance scheme will be provided and all costs related to the briefing/debriefing covered.
Training during the activity
● Be part of a multidisciplinary team where you will gain knowledge about other professions and the national context. ● Learn about the characteristics of poverty and inequality from a human rights perspective. ● Manage and evaluate projects with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability. ● Foster your leadership and teamwork. ● Strengthen your network of contacts.
Participant profile
● Education: Professional with a degree in International Relations, Political Science, International Business, or related fields. ● Languages: Spanish and English desirable. ● Software (desirable): ○ Management of Microsoft Office tools, for data processing and information analysis. ○ Design tools such as Canva. ○ Knowledge in Salesforce. ● Competencies: ○ Knowledge on Agenda 2030 and Sustainable Development Goals. ○ Experience in analysing and synthesising information, writing skills in the preparation and presentation of documents. ○ Project management. Soft skills: ○ Commitment. ○ Proactivity. ○ Inclusiveness. ○ Effective communication. ○ Ability to learn. ○ Ability to work in a team. ○ Volunteer team management. ○ Planning and organisation. ○ Analytical skills. Eligibility : Candidates must be 18 to 35 years old, reside in one of the eligible countries (EU Member State, North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Turkey), have completed the compulsory Humanitarian Aid Volunteering training and not have participated before in individual Humanitarian Aid Volunteering. When adding together this new volunteering opportunity and any previous participation in EU volunteering programmes, the total duration cannot exceed 12 months.
