Haabersti Youth Centre is hosting 1 volunteer from September 2025-August 2025 (11 months). Haabersti Youth Centre (suborganisation of Haabersti Activity Centre) has been open for 24 years and in this time, it has become a community centre, which offers a safe environment for the youth for purposeful activities during their free time. The volunteer is expected to take part in all the activities that the youth centre is running (eg free hobby clubs in a week: cooking class, art class, crafts class, quiz class). * Haabersti is one of the 8 districts of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. The youth centre organises a variety of activities for the youth including outdoor activities (camping, extreme sports, street art, gardening, competitions etc) and indoor activities. The youth centre has an open area where kids can study, play board games, playstation, pool, table football and table tennis, and most importantly - socialise with others.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteer is living in a shared household (sharing the living space with other volunteers). The local transport is organised. International transport: The travel grant depends on a travelled distance and can be 309€ / 395€ or 580€ for round tickets. Visa costs and other exceptional cost are covered up to real costs based on justification (if needed and applicable). Pocket money: According to ESC programme guide, the financial support is 5eur/per day in Estonia. Food Money: volunteer receives 7eur/per day to cover his/her food costs.

Training during the activity

Volunteer is attending at on-arrival training and mid-term training organised by Estonian National Agency. In addition volunteer is supported before mobility by support organisation in her/his home country and will also take part in local orientation in host organisation. If possible, volunteer also attends at annual ESC evaluation organised by the National Agency from the volunteer' home country.

Participant profile

We are looking for an active person who really wants to organise events, activities, bond with youngsters and support them. Open-minded and with a sense of humor.
