Description

Join La Víbria Intercultural and his Baumann Bar as a European Solidarity Corps volunteer and be at the heart of promoting cultural exchange, organizing engaging activities, and supporting community initiatives. Assist with event coordination, sound setup for performances, social media management, exhibition setup, and administrative tasks. Participate as well in the radio of the association with content creation, edition and podcasting., Make a meaningful impact while gaining valuable experience in a vibrant cultural hub.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You will be living in a fully equipped flat in the central area of Terrassa shared with other ESC volunteers. Some rooms are private, some shared with another person. Depending on the flat, it will be 15/20 minutes by walk from the workplace. Some bikes will be available to use. Working hours: 27h per week + 3h of Catalan class per week. Flexible schedule depending on the cultural activities in the Bar. You will always get 2 days off per week. Training during the activity

- Knowledge of a wide range of youth mobility opportunities - Discovering all the steps of the implementation of a youth international project locally(from the idea to the realization) - Knowing all the phases of project management - Getting to know digital tools - Developing public speaking and leadership skills while preparing talks and facilitating NFE activities - 3h per week of Catalan lessons during all the stay -On-arrival and Mid-term training provided by Spanish National Agency - Training on the use of tools and methodologies of non-formal education to work with youth

Participant profile

We are looking for someone that: Is passionate about promoting cultural exchange, community engagement, and social inclusion; Has strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, and execute events effectively; Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor; Ability to generate innovative ideas for engaging activities and events that celebrate diversity; Good in social media management and basic technical skills to assist with sound setup and digital communication tools; Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
