Animation and intercultural exchange in a French high school

Description
1)Intercultural awareness ◦ Be an ambassador of your country ◦ Organise intercultural evenings ◦ Participate to workshops that prepare students to leave for an internship abroad (help with the CV, cover letter, intercultural preparation…). 2) Pedagogical activities ◦ Linguistic support in collaboration with the English teachers ◦ Help students with their homework ◦ Accompanying students during school trips or professional events ◦ Participate in visiting internships of the students ◦ Organise thematic evenings for the students during their leisure time 3) Mission Euro App Mobility – Erasmus+ ◦Participation in meetings at the regional/national level ◦Translation of courses into English and participation in the creation of distance learning materials ◦ Creation of training activities in English for teaching staff + facilitation of workshops. Interviews the first week of september.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The volunteer will have two different accommodations. From Monday to Thursday : inside the MFR, in Montluel. The other one will be available from Friday evening until Tuesday morning and during his/her holidays, and will be situated in in a sharing apartment in Oullins 15 min away by metro from Lyon. In the MFR, the volunteer will live in an equipped private apartment Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided. The MFR is situated in a rural place, without daily public transport. The flat is Lyon is shared with 7. Pocket money: 8,00/day. Food money : 9,00/day. Transport card included.
Training during the activity
ESC arrival training ( organised by the Erasmus National Agency) - ESC mid-term training ( organised by the Erasmus National Agency) - Integration/Training week with the french and european volunteers of Concordia
Participant profile
Adaptation, sense of organisation and anticipation. To be communicative and easy to approach by youngsters. Speak English and have a basic knowledge of French or be really motivated to learn French. Motivation for the topics of youth activities and French pedagogical and educational system. Availability for a 9 months project starting in October 2025. To have the driving license and feel comfortable with driving could be helpful but it’s not mandatory.
