LEADERSHIP AND ORGANIZING

Funkibator Ideell Förening

Växjö, Sweden

Description

Funkibator is an association working with inclusion, disability rights, and creative social activities. Based in Växjö, we create spaces where everyone feels welcome, regardless of diagnosis. As a volunteer, you will support and organize activities such as workshops, events, and social gatherings, and lead individuals in simple practical tasks through our work training programs. You will help coordinate rooms, materials, and communication, and may also assist with gardening, repairs, or logistics. Volunteers are part of a diverse team at Mästeriet SIP, our public activity house, and are encouraged to bring their own ideas and leadership. Volunteers will also join other teams within the network to gain more experience in practical tasks. Overall, each volunteer is matched with tasks that suit their interests and strengths. Volunteers get a yearlong bus card or bicycle for transport, depending on distance to the office.
