Description

The volunteer, supported by the youth bureau of the city of Strasbourg, will participate in various actions: • Meet with young volunteers (local and international) to gather their stories and highlight their experiences. • Participate in the organization of intercultural events and volunteer meetings (breakfasts, language cafés, community forums, etc.). • Contribute to promoting volunteer projects and youth initiatives through communication materials (articles, videos, social media, newsletters). • Co-facilitate awareness-raising workshops on international engagement and mobility with partner associations, youth organizations, and other identified establishments. • Create bridges between volunteer programs (French and European) and local organizations working with young people. • Participate in promoting the City's actions to promote inclusion, citizenship, solidarity, and equality.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will be accommodated in an apartment belonging to the city of Strasbourg and will receive additionnal pocket money for the food fees. A subscription for the local transport services will also be provided.

Training during the activity

Volunteers will take part in two seminars organised be the french ESC Agency, and three sessions organized by VISA-AD. All travels and accomodations for those trainings are included

Participant profile

A creative, dynamic and autonomous profile is ideal. A basic level in French is a plus
