EARTHWISE

Udruga za održivi razvoj "POZITIVA SAMOBOR"

Samobor, Croatia

Description

The EarthWise activity is dedicated to promoting responsible tourism and ecotourism as tools for habitat conservation, empowering young people to protect natural ecosystems while fostering sustainable economic and social development. Through hands-on conservation efforts, environmental education, and community-driven tourism initiatives, the project encourages visitors and locals alike to respect, preserve, and contribute to the long-term health of natural landscapes. A key focus of EarthWise is the development of eco-friendly tourism infrastructure that minimizes environmental impact. Volunteers will work on establishing and maintaining sustainable nature trails, creating interpretative signage that educates visitors on local biodiversity, and designing low-impact visitor facilities. These efforts will ensure that tourism activities align with environmental protection while enhancing the visitor experience.
