Description
Proposed activities: - Support in the preparation, development, and implementation of social, educational, and sports activities (preparation and preparation of materials for lessons, conducting part of the lesson). - Promotion of all kinds of activities, using social media accounts - Creating own blog (articles, photos, possibly movies). - Assistance in writing an application for the Erasmus+ program, for international youth exchange from other countries in Europe. - Supporting language club activities implemented at schools. - Help in organising events that are organised or co-organised by the host organisation - Making presentations in schools and universities about volunteers' own country and culture, and about the ESC program. - Organising extracurricular workshops in a high school using non-formal teaching methods once a week.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The volunteer will be accommodated in the fully furnished guest house of the organisation, alongside other volunteers. A single room will be allocated for each volunteer. The kitchen and bathroom will be shared common areas for all volunteers. The flat is located in the city centre and is just 300 meters away from the organisation's building. Local public transportation costs for activities at schools will be covered by the receiving organisation.
Training during the activity
On arrival and midterm evaluation trainings will be organised by responsibility of the national agency.
Participant profile
We are looking for a person who is aged between 18 and 30, a legally resident or citizen of an EU country, open-minded towards different cultures, willing to learn and try new things, patient, and able to share time with young people, and who can organise sports and outdoor activities also communicate at a good level of English.
