Youth and Sports Volunteers in Taekwondo Federation

Description
Our project will be conducted in two stages, with a focus on Ankara, and will involve 11 volunteers from various countries. In the first 10 days of our project, volunteers will be involved in the Turkiye Kids Taekwondo Championship in Ankara, where thousands of athletes from various cities are expected to participate. Briefly; - Helping with the arrangement of competitions, - According to the physical equipment necessities, preparation of the competition area, - Helping out international participants in case they need support during the tournament. -Conducting cultural and various workshops and activities by volunteers The last 10 days, volunteers will participate in youth activities and taekwondo training. Briefly; -Visiting the youth centres, -Participating in activities organised in youth centres in the fields of culture, art and sports, -Conducting cultural and various workshops. -Asisstants for taekwondo trainnings.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Volunteers should initially arrive in Ankara. Then, accommodation will be provided at a facility within walking distance of the sports hall where the competition will take place. Rooms are planned to accommodate 2 or 3 individuals of the same gender. Volunteers will receive a daily pocket allowance of 5 euros, and in addition, meals will be provided or a food allowance will be given. Travel expenses and all payments will be made to the volunteers within a few days after their arrival. Volunteers will return to their countries from Ankara.
Training during the activity
Orientation training after arrival (city tour, introducing the organisation, showing round facilities of the organisation, shopping place, hospital, police, and the city government). Training will be provided by the task related person assigned to the volunteer regarding all the everyday tasks. Participant profile
We are looking for 11 volunteers who possess the following skills: Patient Teamwork, Adaptability to flexible working hours, a smiling and sportive personality, knowledge and experience in sports courses and youth activities, with no obstacles to travel, and an open mind to innovation and progress.
