Description

Alianza-ActionAid Spain and FJTB are looking for a team of young people to improve the assistance of Ukrainian refugees from a gender perspective, join us at the headquarters of FJTB in Botosani! The project Vol4Refugees offers young, motivated volunteers the chance to support the integration of Ukrainian refugees into the Botoșani community through educational, cultural, social, and sports activities. The project emphasizes gender-sensitive support and encourages active civic engagement. Volunteers will help organize workshops, assist with youth programs, lead non-formal education sessions, and coordinate sports or recreational events that promote inclusion and intercultural dialogue. This experience allows volunteers to develop key personal and professional skills while contributing to a more inclusive and resilient local society. If you are migrant, refugee, if you live in rural areas, if you have limited economic support or any other context don´t hesitate to sign up!

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will be accommodated in a modern, centrally located youth hostel (Casa Tineretului), in the same building where many activities will take place. Rooms are shared (2 people/room) and include private bathrooms. A fully equipped kitchen is available for cooking. Volunteers will also receive free public transport passes for Botoșani’s electric bus network, making local travel easy and sustainable.

Training during the activity
