Description
Individual 5.5 month volunteering opportunity for two young people in youth NGO Outward Bound Croatia (OBC). We deliver outdoor experiential learning courses, facilitate learning by doing and organize international projects for youth within Erasmus+ and ESC framework. We provide an opportunity to take part in non-formal education and gain valuable personal, social, and professional experience. We are looking for persons with experience in outdoor education, non-formal learning and Erasmus+ projects. Location is a small rural town Gospić in mountain area in Croatia, work is organized in our outdoor education centre in a small village Veliki Žitnik, 6 kilometres from Gospić. All costs covered.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Accommodation is in a rented flat. Each volunteer has its´s room. Kitchen and bathroom are shared. Volunteers get 10 eur/day for pocket money and 165 euro/months for food - monthly allowance is given in cash in euros at the beginning of each month. Travel costs are covered up to Erasmus distance calculator.
Training during the activity
Volunteers take part in on-arrival and mid-term training organized by the Croatian national agency.
Participant profile
Aged 18 - 30. Experience in outdoor education, Erasmus+ and non-formal education project. Valid driving license.
