DRUSTVO LOJTRA DRUSTVO ZA OSEBNI IN POKLICNI RAZVOJ MLADIH

LITIJA, Slovenia

Description

Sustainable living is a topic that is ever more relevant for every European, that is why we always try to put it in the hearth of Lojtra’s projects. The opportunities to gain knowledge&skills for actually living sustainably and self-sufficiently can be hard to come by-in this project we aim to make such opportunities (based in Litija region) more visible and accessible to young people. Our sustainability projects try to balance inner (body, mind, spirit) and outer (community buliding, permacutture ect.) sustainability. By uprgrading our website and creating content for our social media, you will make sure sustainability projects become more visible and accessible. In the process of doing so, you will get to explore, interview and film different initiatives, farmers and institiutions in Litija region, that are important carriers of traditional or alternative wisdom regardin sustainability practices. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You'll have your own room and bathroom on a local farm. You will share the kithcen with our three other international volunteers, who are already living on the farm. Your room won't be in the same house as their apartment, so you'll have to go into another bulding (next to yours) so access the kitchen. If you are residing in Slovenia and you would wish not to live in Litija, we can offer you up to 300€/month to spend on your own housing expenses. You'll recieve pocket money (5€/day) and food allowance (7€/day) for every day of the project. You'll get all the travel expenses reimburised.

Training during the activity

You will attend the On Arrival Training Course, organised by a Slovenian National Agency at the begining of the project. Lojtra's team will always be there to support you in your learning rocess during your project. We will also provide you with the mentor, who will give you up to 4 lessons on web-page development and will always be there for any technical questions you will have, regarding your work. Participant profile

Strong motivation for learning is the KEY virtue we are looking for! Some experience in web design would make things much easier for you as you will have to work on it individually a lot, but a strong motivation to learn and develop your skills might also be enough. It depends on you, how confident you feel to take on this challenage with the skills you have. You should be interested in sustainability, open to talk to foreigners (in English) and self-initiative. If you have a possibility to bring your own car to the projecct, that is a big plus, but not a necesity.
