Description

Humanity Link is a 12-month project with ANFFAS Cremona Onlus, starting in JANUARY. Volunteers will help organize workshops and activities to increase the independence of people with intellectual disabilities. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will be provided with fully equipped shared apartments with single rooms located in the city center, within close proximity to the volunteering site. A monthly food allowance will be provided, and each volunteer will receive a personal bicycle for getting around town. Travel expenses will be covered, with a preference for environmentally friendly travel options. To support their integration and activities, volunteers will have the guidance of a tutor and mentor, while a project coordinator will oversee the overall management of the project.

Training during the activity

Each project includes On Arrival Training (OAT) and Mid Term Evaluation (MTE) organized by the Italian National Agency. These sessions provide specific training on the project’s activities, alongside learning paths designed to help volunteers discover, understand, and recognize their personal skills, aptitudes, and competences. Volunteers will also have access to online language support to learn Italian through the EU Academy platform (https://academy.europa.eu/). At the end of the service, all volunteers will receive a Youthpass certificate, documenting their achievements

We are looking for volunteers who are dynamic, creative, communicative, sociable, and patient. Ideal candidates should be highly motivated, eager to learn Italian, and comfortable working in a team.
