Description

ESN Portugal is lookinb for a Partnerships Assistant that you will help the Tresurer to manage commercial collaborations, from strategy to execution. Your main tasks will include: Proactively research and identify potential national partners (corporate businesses, large service providers, and institutions) whose services align with the needs of international students (e.g., travel, accommodation, telecommunications, financial services); Pitch and Negotiate: Develop compelling partnership proposals and actively pitch ESN Portugal's value to prospective partners; and formalize agreements, ensuring all terms benefit the ESN Portugal network and are clearly outlined.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Accommodation options will be provided by ESN Portugal. Each volunteer will have an individual bedroom, in a house with other volunteers. A monthly stipend will be provided to cover meals and local transportation of the volunteers. Pocket money will also be provided. All travel costs of the trip coming to Portugal and going back home are covered.

Training during the activity

The volunteer will have the support and supervision of the Board of ESN Portugal, mainly the Treasurer and the Director of the Secretariat. Apart from technical skills, the volunteer will learn to set goals, work in a team, and manage time and resources, which will benefit their future professional and personal life. You will also participate in ESN Portugal's capacity-building activities, where you will learn hard and soft skills in different fields, such as the internationalisation of education, inclusion, social impact, human resources, etc.

Participant profile

Fluent in written and spoken English(B2) and Portuguese (B1); Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). Demonstrates a structured and reliable way of working with strong attention to detail. Strong capacity to work in a team with the National Board and local sections. Able to work independently and manage specific administrative tasks and deadlines effectively Maintains a high level of professionalism when communicating with external partners. Displays a proactive and goal-oriented approach to supporting partnership tasks. Knowledge of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) structure and mission is a significant plus.
