Description

Philanthropy has been implementing development programs providing psycho-social support, social services, educational programs for the unemployed, and local communities’ capacity building programs targeting the most marginalized and deprived groups of people: vulnerable children and youth (in rural areas, Roma.), elderly, people living with HIV, and long-term unemployed women. Your tasks will be the following: - Providing administrative and logistical support for project implementation and daily operations - Assisting in planning, organizing and coordinating project activities, meetings, and field visits - Supporting the preparation of project documentation: reports, meetings minutes, attendance lists, and financial records - Ensuring proper filing and archiving of project documents in both electronic and physical formats. - Supporting the monitoring and evaluation of project activities by collecting and organizing data and feedback from the field.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Philanthropy will be in charge of the budget for accommodation and utilities and will find you a suitable one-bedroom apartment in Belgrade. You will pay for your food costs and transportation from the monthly allowance of 470 EUR. Public transportation in Belgrade is free of charge. You will be the only international volunteer hosted by Philanthropy in Belgrade, but there are a few others in other hosting organisations involved in this project.

Training during the activity

You will work on the learning and development plan with your mentors and will be offered to participate in Philanthropy's capacity building activities where possible. In addition to the mandatory Code of Conduct orientation and Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults training, Philanthropy can provide training on Project Cycle Management and Monitoring and Evaluation to help you better understand how to program and deliver activities.

Participant profile

Volunteer should to be adoptive to cultural sensitivities and changes in context that come with humanitarian and development work. It is expected that she/he accepts zero tolerance policy for any type of discrimination. Volunteer needs to be responsible and strictly to adhere with Philanthropy’s Code of Conduct and other mandatory policies, especially Safeguarding Policy, Antidiscrimination Policy and Data Protection Policy. Preferably, volunteer should be communicative person, open to new. For this position, Philanthropy prefers to engage a organized person with good written and verbal English skills.
