Re-Garden: Build, Create & Grow in Rural Romania!

Asociația "Luna și noi"

Cogealac, Romania

Description

Join Re-Garden, a unique ESC adventure in rural Romania! From March to December 2026, you will help build and improve community spaces, support youth activities, unleash your creativity through murals and workshops, and contribute to the development of a brand-new volunteer house. Live in a peaceful village surrounded by fields and wind turbines, work with friendly local youth, and become part of a small, welcoming team that treats you like family. Expect hands-on tasks, teamwork, creativity, community events, and plenty of opportunities to learn practical skills. If you enjoy meaningful impact, rural life, fresh air, and meeting inspiring people — this project is for you! More details at : www.Lunasinoi.com/join-us

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers live in a shared volunteer house (6 people) with bedrooms, common areas, kitchen and garden. You receive €300/month (food + pocket money). Travel is reimbursed according to ESC distance bands. The village is quiet, safe and close to the Black Sea coast. All utilities, Wi-Fi and basic household needs are provided. Local transport for activities is covered by the organisation.

Training during the activity

You will receive on-arrival and mid-term ESC training, safety and tools training, Romanian language lessons, cultural orientation, and weekly mentoring. You’ll learn practical construction basics, community engagement, teamwork, communication, and how to run creative activities with youth. We support your learning goals throughout the whole project.

Participant profile

We welcome motivated volunteers aged 18–30 who are open-minded, creative, team-oriented, and ready for both hands-on work and youth activities. No experience needed — just curiosity and enthusiasm. Rural life can be calm, so flexibility and a positive attitude help. We especially welcome volunteers who enjoy practical tasks, community engagement, outdoor activities, or artistic expression.
