Institute of Support and Studies on Entrepreneur hip, Social Development and Cohesion Cube Non-Profit Organisation

Thessaloniki, Greece

Description

Join a 2-week volunteering team in Thessaloniki, Greece, and contribute to community development, social inclusion activities, creative workshops (podcasts), and the remembrance of the Roma Holocaust. Hosted by CUBE NGO, this ESC project brings together young people from around Europe to work, learn, and create a positive impact together. No experience needed – just motivation and team spirit!

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will be accommodated in a shared flat or hostel in Thessaloniki/ shared rooms (Wi-Fi, kitchen access, other basic facilities). Also, volunteers will receive either three meals per day or a food allowance (depending on availability and accommodation type). Transport for project activities will be covered by the organisation. If needed, volunteers will receive a public transport card. All the abovementioned will be fully covered by the organization and the ESC Programme.

Training during the activity

Volunteers receive on-arrival orientation, safety briefing and introduction to the project. Training includes team-building, intercultural learning and task-specific preparation for workshops and community activities. Daily reflection sessions and mentoring support help volunteers track progress and address challenges. A Youthpass session guides them in recognising their learning outcomes.

Participant profile

We are looking for motivated young people aged 18–30 who are open-minded, willing to learn, and ready to work in a multicultural team. No previous experience is required.
