EUROPEAN SOLIDARITY CORPS in Sardinia
Coda di Lupo APS
Oristano, Italy
Description
The ESC in Sardinia offers young people a meaningful volunteering experience focused on solidarity, inclusion, and personal growth. The project takes place in Oristano, a beautiful town in western Sardinia. In line with the European Youth Strategy, the project aims to foster youth participation, empowerment, and social and civic engagement through non-formal education activities. Volunteers will support social inclusion initiatives, with a special focus on people with fewer opportunities, while developing intercultural skills and a strong sense of European solidarity. Main activities include intercultural and intergenerational workshops, mental health education and wilderness-based activities, and sports, leisure, and recreational initiatives promoting well-being, teamwork, and community life. Living and volunteering in Sardinia means discovering a unique territory rich in nature, culture, and traditions, while contributing to a positive impact at local and European level.
