Description
This project aims to support the physical rehabilitation and functional transformation of a former educational institution into a safe, inclusive, and accessible community space. This renewed environment will serve as a hub for non-formal education, recreational activities, and community events, fostering social interaction, learning opportunities, and active participation among local residents. Through this initiative, the project seeks to strengthen community engagement and promote inclusive access to educational and cultural experiences. 🌍📚
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The participant budget covers: 1. Travel costs according with the Erasmus+ Distance Calculator and based on the real travel expenses. 2. Visa Costs up to the amount of 120 EUR. 3. Full allowance of 4 EUR per day as pocket money. 4. You'll receive 5 euro/day to cover the food and basic necessities. You will be accommodated in double rooms. Each volunteer will have individual bed and auxiliary furniture as well as access to shared bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and other common facilities. Training during the activity
The first week of the project serves as an orientation phase. During this time, you will receive training in several key areas: - You will learn to use the management and working tools necessary during the project - You will learnhow to organize, implement, assess, share and record your activities - You will receive access to working materials that will help you on your activities - You will be trained on how to use tools and utensils for construction and gardening work that you will perform during this volunteering
Participant profile
You are the ideal candidate for us if: - You are 18-29 years old; - You have medium - good English and social skills; - You are interested in working with young people (experience is a plus); - You are creative, adaptable, enjoy learning new things and can manage stress well; - You are motivated, open minded and you have willingness to get involved in initiatives that involve practical work in landscaping, construction, cleaning and the maintenance of green spaces - You are not afraid of physical work and are willing to get your hands dirty while contributing to this project.
