Stowarzyszenie Akwedukt
Kwidzyn, Poland
Description
🌿🛠️ Looking for a short, intense, and incredibly rewarding adventure? Join our 2-week ESC Team Volunteering project in Kwidzyn, Poland, and leave a lasting mark on our local community! We need your energy for a massive garden makeover at our YouthSpace. 🌿🛠️ Our community garden needs a serious reboot, and we are starting with a bang! Your very first task? Teaming up to take down and remove a huge, broken old tent that’s blocking our creative space. Once the ground is cleared and the garden is cleaned up, the real magic begins. You and your international crew will get your hands dirty planting, restoring the green area, and building awesome, sustainable urban furniture from scratch. In just 14 days, you’ll transform a messy, neglected yard into a vibrant outdoor chill zone for local youth. It’s hard, hands-on work, but the payoff is huge. You’ll bond with volunteers from all over Europe, share lots of laughter, and experience the deep satisfaction! Ready to roll up your sleeves?

Participant profile
🌿🛠️Who are we looking for? 🌿🛠️ 🌿We don’t need professional gardeners, architects, or master carpenters. We are looking for enthusiastic young people (18-30 years old) who are ready to roll up their sleeves, work hard, and have fun as a team. If you don't mind getting a little dirt under your nails for a great cause, you are exactly who we need! You are a perfect match if you are: 🛠️Not afraid of physical work: You have the energy and stamina to dismantle a giant broken tent, clear out debris, dig in the soil, and build things. This is a very hands-on, active 2-week mission! 🌿A true Team Player: You thrive in a group and love collaborating. You know that taking down a heavy tent or building a wooden bench is way easier (and much funnier) when you do it together with an international crew. 🛠️A DIY & Nature Enthusiast: You love the idea of upcycling, creating sustainable urban furniture from scratch, and breathing new life into a neglected green space. 🌿Adaptable & open-minded: You are ready for a short, intense intercultural living experience in Kwidzyn. You are open to meeting people from different backgrounds and flexible enough to laugh it off when things don't go exactly as planned. 🛠️ Motivated by visible results: You are the kind of person who loves seeing the immediate impact of your hard work—transforming a messy yard into a beautiful, functional chill zone in just 14 days. What you DON'T need: 🌿🛠️ Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or construction. Just bring your motivation, and we will guide you through the rest! To help you prepare, here are the main questions you'll need to answer when you apply: 1. The Hands-On Check: Are you ready to get dirty? Tell us how you feel about physical outdoor work (like dismantling tents and building DIY furniture) and if you have any previous experience. 2. The Teamwork Check: You’ll be living and working 24/7 with an international crew. What role do you usually play in a team? 3. The Adaptability Check: Outdoor work is unpredictable (think bad weather or stubborn tools). How do you handle unexpected challenges or changes of plan? 4. The Motivation Check: What excites you the most about transforming a messy, neglected yard into a cool community chill zone in just 14 days? 🌱Join us, make lifelong friends, and let's get digging!🌱
