The power of together

Working together for young refugees

Service national de la jeunesse

Jesuit Refugee Service Luxembourg

Description

JRS offers holistic support to refugees and asylum seekers. With the 'Deng Plantz' project, we support young asylum seekers aged 13 to 25 in Luxembourg by following them individually and helping them to be integrated into Luxembourg society. These young people can experience a range of losses, such as loss of confidence in themselves, in others, in the future and in their sense of existence. We organize cultural, historical, creative and discovery activites in Luxembourg, French lessons and individual professional support. The volunteer's missions are to help with French lessons and professional support, preparation for activities, administratives tasks, provide a permanent presence for the Ubuntu Mission and a project of their choice.
