Final & Urgent CALL : ATTENTION : Do You want to save BABY Sea Turtles (Caretta-Carettas) and help them Survive!!!! Our Project is a short term (59+2days travel) multi-national TEAM volunteering project. (10 Participants) Kazanlı beach Where our organisation is located is a nesting area for Sea Turtles (Chelonia Mydas and Caretta-Caretta) and It is Sea Turtles' NESTING&HATCHLING season and We are going to protect their nests&nesting area and BABY Sea Turtles from the predators (especially stray cats&dogs), artificial lights and unconscious Human activities (at night) and releasing them back to the sea. We will have Outdoor Activities on the beach -Cleaning the Kazanlı Beach (Main Activity) at late afternoon -Preparing media about environmental protection -Turkish Language support -Night activity starts 10pm utill 5am (IN TURN) -Saving the SEA TURTLES (Chelonia Mydas and Caretta-Carettas )
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Food and accommodation will be fully covered by Hosting Organization (3rd Eye) through LEAD-Coordinator organisation (Luxembourg). The volunteers will be responsible to cook for the group. They can buy and cook accordingly to the group members in turn. Travel costs will be reimbursed according to EU distance calculator. Volunteers will receive POCKET money. There are 2 flats with 2 bedrooms next to the activity area in front of the beach. so The Volunteers will not need transportation for the activities. Volunteers are going to share bedrooms with 2-3 other participants.

-Sea Turtle's Life Cycle (Chelonia Mydas and Caretta-Caretta) How to protect&realese them back to the sea. -Turkish Language Support -Youthpass Certificate (Competences)
Participant profile
We are looking for participants aged between 18-30 Who are eager to learn about protecting wild life and has no physical obstacles. -Open to learn and respectful to cultural differences & has tolerance and endurance.!! Because During the night activity a volunteer is going to walk nearly 8 km on a sandy beach with all the team members (of course with breaks). -Has cooking skills or ready to learn how to cook for the group. PLEASE BE SURE about your decision before you apply and the project dates are strict. After you send your interest to our project, We are going to send you our application form to be filled.
