Description
Aluksne Children and Youth Centre wants to provide intercultural learning possibilities for different aged people in Aluksne, as well as develop a cooperation between generations in learning process. Volunteer will work with pre-school kids, spend time with children and young people in Youth Centre "Pa GALMS" and provide English club (or their native language) and other workshops for different aged people. There will be many people who have broaden their horizons, intercultural learning experience, improved their foreign language skills and become more opened to new experiences!
Participant profile
We are looking for motivated, open-minded, and enthusiastic young people who are eager to experience intercultural learning and contribute to the local community in Aluksne, Latvia. Participants should enjoy working with children and young people, be creative, and willing to take initiative in organizing activities such as language clubs, workshops, and informal learning sessions. An interest in education, communication, and cultural exchange is highly appreciated.
