Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
As a volunteer, you’ll live in a double room (same-gender pairing) in a shared flat in 📍Wrocław with a shared kitchen and bathroom with other international volunteers (4-5 flatmates) just a 5-minute walk from the train station for an easy 20-25 minute ride to the kindergarten in Oborniki Śląskie. The flat has a washing machine, internet access and is equipped with basic kitchen essentials, and fresh towels and bedding. 💵 Pocket money (6 EUR/day ≈ 180 EUR/month) + food budget (600 PLN). 👉 Check the INFO PACK for more details on what else is provided: https://tinyurl.com/chatterbox-2026-2027
Training during the activity
🗣️🇵🇱 Polish classes are included as part of your volunteering hours—twice a week. Your first week will kick off with training for the whole volunteer group led by a project coordinator, covering flat and safety rules, local culture, expectations from teachers towards volunteers, specifics of working with children and potential challenges, EU and Henner health insurance, and a handy starter Polish vocabulary guide. Plus, On-Arrival and Mid-Term training sessions are scheduled at the start and midpoint of your project.

We’re looking for a proactive & engaging volunteer! You’re a great fit if you: ✅ Love interacting with children. ✅ Eager to learn Polish to connect with children and teachers. ✅ Are proactive—ready to take initiative in planning activities, supporting teachers, and engaging with children. ✅ Enjoy sharing your culture through games, music, cooking, or storytelling. ✅ Are responsible, reliable, and adaptable—comfortable with both structured tasks and spontaneous moments. ✅ Have experience with children (e.g., babysitting, scouting, or volunteering) or a strong willingness to get experience. Bonus points if you: 🌟 Have a talent for arts, music, sports, or crafts—bring your hobbies to the classroom! 🌟 If you speak German.
