Description
You will support Action against Hunger in the implementation of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning activities to improve the quality and impact of interventions. You will contribute to the collection, processing, analysis, management, and the monitoring of project performance indicators, and capitalization of good practices. You will also participate in strengthening accountability mechanisms to beneficiaries and disseminating lessons learned to improve decision-making. In collaboration with the field teams and partners, you will ensure the quality of the data and support the development of MEAL tools adapted to the intervention context.You will support the consolidation and analysis of project data; Participate in the monitoring of indicators and beneficiaries and update MEAL tools; Contribute to the establishment and monitoring of accountability mechanisms and in field evaluations and surveys, supporting reports and dashboards drafting, and documents capitalization.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
We cover your accommodation, travel, visa, medical checkup and vaccinations costs, and you will be provided with monthly pocket money for your free time and personal hygiene. During the deployment you will be provided with a laptop and phone of the organization to ensure the means to carry out the activities. In case of belonging to one of the Fewer Opportunities categories (please, check the details with the organization) additional inclusion measures and benefits will be applied.
Training during the activity
During the deployment you will have access to the full catalog of training courses offered on ACF Virtual Campus and will have the opportunity to benefit from additional external courses.
Participant profile
You will join our field teams engaged in humanitarian operations and have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills in a well-recognized international organization dedicated to the fight against hunger. You will gain first-hand experience of humanitarian action, life in the field, and high-impact interventions. If what you are looking for is not a tourist or travel experience but a meaningful humanitarian experience that will challenge you and contribute to both your personal and professional growth, this is the place for you. We are looking for a recent graduate in Monitoring, Evaluation, Statistics, Social Sciences, Rural Economics, International Development or similar field with interest in monitoring and evaluation and data analysis, good command of Excel and/or data collection and analysis tools (Kobo, ODK, Sphinx, PowerBI, etc.), analytical skills, rigor and organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of French is required, English is an asset. Fewer Opportunities applicants are strongly invited to apply.
