Euroville 6.0 - 1 month volunteering team project in Opole/Poland

Stowarzyszenie "Europa Iuvenis"

Opole, Poland

Description

Get ready for an unforgettable spring with Euroville 6.0! (Note: To ensure gender diversity within our team, we are especially looking for male candidates at this stage.) to join us in Opole from May 25th to June 25th. Your main mission? Building a "Global-European Village" by hosting interactive stands in local schools and bringing your culture to life for children and youth. But that's not all! You will become a digital creator during our "Media Days," producing video content to promote the ESC program. You’ll also host Cultural Evenings and organize exciting events at our "R29" youth space. This project is a perfect mix of cultural exchange, education, and creativity. Join a proven initiative that has been spreading European values for years. Come and turn Opole into a colorful hub of diversity this June! It’s a month full of creative work and meaningful social impact. Ready for the challenge?

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

You will stay in a university dormitory in Opole, sharing a double or triple room. Rooms are gender-segregated (you might share with local students). Depending on the building, bathrooms and kitchens are shared either between two rooms or per floor. We provide kitchen essentials like pots and kettles. You’ll receive 180 EUR pocket money and 700 PLN for food. Travel costs are reimbursed based on ESC limits. Local transport during activities is covered, and you'll have free time for sightseeing! All necessary equipment for workshops and media tasks is provided.

Training during the activity

During the first few days, you will participate in a comprehensive preparation training covering intercultural communication, the basics of the Polish language, and project-related tasks. Throughout the month, you will also receive practical training on how to conduct workshops for children, and how to effectively promote European values. Our team will provide ongoing support to help you develop your leadership and organizational skills in a multicultural environment.

Participant profile

We are looking for motivated and open-minded individuals aged 18 to 30 from EU and partner Countries who are ready for an intense and rewarding one-month volunteering experience in Poland. Our ideal candidate should speak English at a communicative level, as this is essential for leading workshops and interacting with children and youth. We value people who are creative, proactive, and genuinely enjoy working in a multicultural team of 12 people. Since the project involves Media Days and school presentations, you should feel comfortable both in front of a camera and when speaking to a crowd. We are searching for volunteers who are interested in youth participation, cultural diversity, and European values, as well as those who are resourceful and ready to adapt to the realities of student life. As this is the 6th edition of Euroville, we have a long history of supporting diverse groups and we strongly encourage people with fewer opportunities to apply. Whether you face social, economic, or geographical obstacles, we are here to support you, so please let us know about your specific needs during the recruitment process. Ultimately, we are not looking for a "perfect" resume but for curious and energetic individuals who are ready to get involved in a well-established project. If you love working with kids and want to share your heritage with the world, Euroville 6.0 is waiting for you!
